Why I Bought a Bosch Dishwasher

Consumer Reports did a survey with its members and found that on average, a dishwasher will last approximately 10 years with the most reliable dishwasher brands being Bosch, Thermador, and Whirlpool, garnering an “Excellent” rating for predicted reliability.

From my past experience with Maytag (lasted 24 years) and GE (lasted less than 5 years), I found Bosch to be definitely more reliable than GE but still fell short in the category of “they don’t build it like they used to”.
