Although my neighbor to my right had three large trees fall down in their backyard and my neighbor to my left had a large tree land on her garage (as seen in the photo above), I was thankful that they were all safe.
For some reason, I was one of the fortunate few that did not suffer any damages; but when I finally took some time to walk around my block, I was astonished by such massive destruction.
In certain parts, it looked like someone took a giant wrecking ball and swung it, knocking down trees into houses. One house had about 20 trees knocked over!
Safe to say, I have no idea when the electricity will return so I will be out gas hunting soon for my generator!
